Actually, I used the word “vassal” in terms of politics and history. A vassal state is the one which is not independent and has to pay money or equivalent material to prevent war

Very good point, but why education system pushes us to remember dates and locations?

I think, not to determine the actual reasons why the world is like this currently and how it is being evolved. We should fill our brain with useless dates while the actual secrets remain hidden
